CONFERENCE ON SAFETY FOR COUNCILLORS, THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA & THE CODE OF CONDUCT

SAFETY FOR COUNCILLORS, THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA & THE CODE OF CONDUCT
The conference has been requested by Councillors who were present at our Summer Conference in Southport, during the weekend we will be discussing how we as Councillors can be protected from personal abuse or physical attack.
The use of social media to communicate with our electorate is extremely useful but it also has drawbacks we are engaging speakers with security experience in this field. We will also discuss the Councillors code of conduct, how it is working and our duties to follow the code. Delegates can participate in Q&A sessions and contribute to conference workshops. The conference will benefit elected members from every tier of local government in all parts of the United Kingdom & Northern Ireland.
To book your places at this AGM and Conference please email the general secretary.
